This 2019 Ariel Atom 3RS is one of reportedly less than 15 units produced for Ariel under license by TMI AutoTech in Alton, Virginia. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter Honda inline-four mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. The tube-frame chassis is powder-coated black and is fitted with laminated composite body panels, carbon-fiber wings, fenders, an air scoop, and translucent side panels. Additional equipment includes 16″ and 17” alloy wheels, a JRi adjustable suspension, Alcon Motorsports brakes, a roll hoop, fixed-back bucket seats with Willans harnesses, a digital gauge display, and a removable steering wheel. The car was ordered new by the selling dealer. This Atom 3RS has ONLY 159 miles and is now offered in Kansas with the original purchase order, a certificate of origin. This car has never been titled.
The 16″ and 17″ satin black 3RS Signature wheels are wrapped in 205/45 front and 255/40 rear Toyo Proxes R888R tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel pushrod-activated JRi adjustable coilovers, Alcon Motorsports four-piston brake calipers, 290mm vented floating rotors, stainless steel brake lines, performance brake pads, and a parking brake kit.
The cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats covered in padded black leatherette with Diamond/Q-Citura center red stitching. Equipment includes a carbon-fiber instrument bezel, Willans six-point racing harnesses, a fire suppression system, dash-mounted Auto-Blip controls, a Tilton adjustable aluminum pedal box, a parking brake, a passenger footrest, a 12v power outlet, and a storage pouch.
The turbocharged 2.4-liter Honda inline-four was rated at 425 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque by Ariel, and features forged pistons, H-pattern connecting rods, a lightened flywheel, a short-run intake manifold, and an air-to-water intercooler.
The car has every option available for the Atom 3RS with an original price of $143,905.
